Become a Foster Parent

One of AWLFC's most important activities is providing foster care for cats and dogs who are awaiting adoption.

Foster care parents provide a safe and secure environment for cats and dogs in transition from homelessness and from Animal Control.

Parents are asked to provide shelter, food, and transportation for medical care and satellite adoptions each Saturday. Medical fees are covered by AWLFC. There are opportunities to foster all ranges of cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies, from adults to bottle babies in need of special care. And you can foster once to help with a special case or on an ongoing basis.

Whatever your experience level, AWLFC will help you learn more about this critical volunteer activity.
